A week long festival of events connecting enterprise and education in all things Tech. Building on previous years we have our biggest and most exciting line up of interactive events including exhibition, workshops, night summit, fringe events and conference to name but a few. For 2023 we’re delighted to be hosting many of our events in The EDGE Hub, our new digital training and upskilling technology hub. Our events aim to inspire the next generation of Tech talent as well as encourage quality collaborations across the business sector and education institutions. We have a global Tech community working together to highlight the region as a hub for innovation and talent and provide opportunities for scaling and exporting.
Tech Week Humber is a global technology festival in the Humber. The event was founded with the vision to showcase innovation from the Humber and to partner with the global tech community. Since its inception in 2019, the event has reached millions of people and had thousands of guests
The world’s most influential tech brands attend the event, including IBM, Google, AWS, Oracle, Twitter, Facebook and Apple. The event focuses on smart cities, IoT, Blockchain, ML, Software Development, Cyber Security and Infrastructure, to name a few.
Tech Week Humber works closely with the UK government to promote exporting and the Humber region. Our vision is to attract global audiences to this region and create partnerships. We have hosted Ministers at our events, including Rt. Hon Graham Stuart MP and Rt. Hon Emma Hardy MP.
The Humber has powered the UK economy for decades, bringing everything from food to freight, coal to cars, passengers to petroleum. The Humber is one of the UK’s most important assets.
Today, businesses continue to invest and thrive in the Humber with our strategic UK coastal location and global connectivity – from marine engineering and logistics companies to chemicals and food manufacturers, and it provides the biggest opportunity for growth through renewable energy.
Hull was named the top northern city for tech investment in 2020. Data from Tech Nation and Dealroom, which formed part of Tech Nation’s ‘The future UK tech built’ report, shows the city raised $108m in tech investment last year.
Tech Week Humber works with education institutions to promote tech skills. We understand that in order for our region to prosper, we need to engage with young people and learners. At the core of our vision is talent. We encourage and promote diversity and inclusion in tech.
Our sponsors, strategic partners and teams are key to the success of our event. We would like to take this opportunity to thank them.
We have worked with and attended many events Antonio and his team have organised and delivered. They are an exceptional team of highly skilled and motivated people.
We have found every event we have attended to be creative, organised and seemless which has made the experiences a real pleasure and a credit to the sectors they are representing.
