Lella Violet Halloum is just 18 but already making change on a global scale. She taught herself to code at eight, started participating in hackathons at 11, and in 2021 she was named the Youngest EVER IBM zChampion & received the Princess Diana Award, both recognizing her efforts to demystify the tech industry and help students everywhere to learn, create and change the world. She is a frequent intervener at the UN and strongly believes that no decision about her generation — the digital generation — should be made without them. Therefore, she has promoted the creation of peer-to-peer and student-led opportunities with a range of collaborators.
